CES 2013 – Canonical released a new smartphone OS – the Ubuntu Phone OS. Canonical showcase the capability of the OS using the Galaxy Nexus.
Although it is still early, looks like the Ubuntu Phone OS can make it and embrace by many consumers because of the Unity UI and simplicity of the interface.
It is not known how fast the Ubuntu phone as compared to Android and iOS. Watching the video and we could say that it is fast enough.
Ubuntu Phone OS is a good alternative to Android and iOS, the only problem is the applications and games. Unless Canonical increase their users, Developers will not create an application for the Ubuntu Phone OS immediately.
